PoolRadar β€” Step-by-step guide

This guide explains how to use PoolRadar to get real-time buy/sell (and other) alerts for Solana tokens in your Telegram groups.

1. Open PoolRadar

πŸ‘‰ t.me/poolradar_bot

Send /start in the private chat. You’ll see the main menu: Add Token, Book Ad, Manage.

2. Add the bot to your group

Before setting up tokens, add the bot to the Telegram group where you want alerts to appear (as a member or admin). You’ll select this group when you add a token.

3. Add a token (setup flow)

  1. In the bot, tap Add Token.
  2. Send the token mint address (Solana SPL token address). The bot looks up the token (e.g. on DexScreener) and, if found, auto-imports the main pool. It will show token name, symbol, price, and market cap.
  3. Minimum alert value β€” Enter the minimum USD value for a trade to trigger an alert (e.g. 100 so only trades β‰₯ $100 are posted).
  4. Alert mode β€” Choose:
    • Buys Only β€” Only buy swaps are posted.
    • Sells Only β€” Only sell swaps are posted.
    • Both β€” Both buys and sells (default).
    • Off β€” No swap alerts (you might still use other alert types).
  5. Videos (optional) β€” You can add buy video, sell video, and arbitrage video URLs (MP4). The bot can show these with alerts. Skip if you don’t need custom videos.
  6. Pools β€” The first pool is often auto-imported. You can:
    • Import from DexScreener β€” Fetch more pools for this token.
    • Add Another Pool β€” Add a pool address manually.
    • Done β€” When you have enough pools.
  7. Summary β€” Review the token summary. Use Show Pools to see the list, then Confirm.
  8. Select groups β€” Choose the Telegram group(s) that should receive alerts for this token. Tap each group to select it, then Done selecting.

After that, the bot will post buy/sell alerts (and any other enabled alert types) to the selected group(s) when matching swaps happen on the tracked pools.

4. What alerts look like

Each buy or sell alert typically includes:

  • NEW BUY or NEW SELL header
  • Amount (USD and token amount)
  • Paid / Received (quote token, e.g. SOL, USDC)
  • Pool (pair label and DEX name)
  • Trader (wallet address, if enabled)
  • Price, Market Cap, 24h Volume
  • Links β€” Solscan (TX), Birdeye, DexScreener

If you enabled arbitrage, new pool, LP add, LP remove, or burn alerts, the bot will post those in the same way when the events occur.

5. Manage your tokens

  1. In the bot, tap Manage.
  2. You’ll see a list of your tokens per group (e.g. β€œTokenName ($SYMBOL) β€” GroupName”). Tap one to open its token actions.
  3. From there you can:
    • Add Pool / Remove Pool / Show Pools β€” Change which pools are tracked.
    • Change Min Value β€” Update the minimum USD for swap alerts.
    • Change Alert Mode β€” Buys only / Sells only / Both / Off.
    • Change Videos β€” Update buy/sell/arb video URLs.
    • Set Topic β€” Pin alerts to a specific topic in the group (if topics are enabled).
    • Trader β€” Toggle whether the trader wallet is shown in alerts.
    • Arbitrage β€” Toggle arbitrage trade alerts.
    • New Pool β€” Toggle alerts when a new pool is created.
    • LP Add / LP Remove β€” Toggle liquidity add/remove alerts.
    • Burn β€” Toggle burn alerts.
    • Remove Token β€” Stop tracking this token for this group.
  4. Use Back to return to the list or main menu.

6. Book Ad (paid ads)

  • Tap Book Ad in the main menu to place a paid ad that appears in alerts (e.g. your Telegram group link or DexScreener link). Payment is typically in SOL; follow the bot’s instructions to complete the booking.

7. Tips

  • Token address β€” Use the mint address of the SPL token (from DexScreener, Birdeye, or the project). The bot needs at least one active pool on DexScreener for that token.
  • Pools β€” More pools = more coverage. Use Import from DexScreener to pull all listed pools for the token.
  • Min value β€” Set a higher minimum to reduce noise (e.g. only $500+ trades).
